Die and Mold Japan project started!

“Business Innovation Partners” will not only help support the management of companies but actively engaged with whole enterprises under specific industry support service.

One of its activities, “Die and Mold industry in Japan” has started.

Mold industry, the foundation of Japanese manufacturing techniques, are very important industries indispensable to manufacturing. However, instead of utilizing the power of capital scale-type, due to certain areas of the center-focused technology, Its approximately 11,000 companies out of the country consists of 90% micro and small manufacturer artisan group with less than 20 employees. On the other hand, our management structure and business base is weak because of a large investment burden in manufacturing machine tools and measurement equipment.

Affected by offshoring significant reduction in domestic production of manufacturing industry to accelerate after the collapse of Lehman Brothers in September 2008, the mold industry players are facing a sharp decline in domestic sales volume and suffering  from unprecedented difficulty in doing their business.

In particular, as early as 2010, the situation is imminent and many companies having a superior mold manufacturing capabilities go out of business bankruptcies. Not only in the mold industry, but automobiles, home appliances and daily cosmetics, increased the risk of irreversible loss of skill or knowledge can lead to reduce international competitiveness of Japanese manufacturing industries.

Among such conditions, President Jin Nasukawa of Business Innovation Partners is elected on an expert panel of ” Die and Mold JAPAN brand strategy development project” dated 10 June 2010 promoted by Japan Die & Mold Industry Association Project, and started supporting to expand their business overseas.
