Overview

A Seminar and a Business Meeting Event was organized in Surabaya (2nd biggest city in Indonesia) by Ehime Prefecture and Ehime Chamber of Commerce and Industry on January 12, 2015.

Results

- Seminar
After a brief presentation of Ehime Prefecture by its Governor and greetings from the Assistant Governor of East Java Provincial Government, Mr. Ir. Hadi Prasetyo, ME, two of the participating Japanese companies introduced their technologies to the audience. This was also followed by an introduction to the industrial parks in the surroundings of Surabaya.
This seminar, which was held in Surabaya Sheraton's ballroom, was attended by the 55 participants of the Ehime Mission and gathered more than 300 participants from local companies.

- B2B Meetings Event
9 innovative companies of Ehime Prefecture, mostly involved in the waste recycling and renewable energy industries, met with about 145 persons from local companies during this event held on January 12, 2015 right after the above mentioned seminar. More than half of the meetings were followed later by further talks and the event itself was praised by the participants as very productive.

BIPC was in charge of the operational management of both this seminar and B2B event from the begining of their preparation up until the D day, and was involved in the selection of the venue, the invitation and appointment of local companies, the scheduling of the business talks, the permanent liaison with governmental, provincial and industrial associations, the promotion of the event to the main local medias etc.
